SUMMARY OF PROPOSED UNIVERSITY REGULATION 6C2-4.071, FACULTY PRACTICE PLAN
Proposed Florida State University Regulation 6C2-4.071, Faculty Practice Plan, would authorize the College of Medicine to maintain a faculty practice plan for the collection and distribution of fees generated by the practice of medicine by its faculty. The proposed Regulation provides that the Board of Trustees of The Florida State University would have oversight of the faculty practice plan through an annual review of the plan's operating budget and annual audit and management letter.

The authority for theproposed regulation is as follows: Florida Board of Governors Regulation Development Procedure for State University Boards of Trustees, Section 1001.74(36) of the Florida Statutes.

Proposed Regulation 6C2-4.071 has been initiated by J. Ocie Harris, M.D., Dean of the College of Medicine.
