Rule 6C2-2.2028(5), Florida Administrative Code, provides that the university would not automatically drop students for non-attendance or non-payment of tuition and fees. Experience, necessity to provide students with wanted classes and need to eliminate students from class rolls who do not show a real intent to attend require that open spaces in classes need to be quickly identified. Cancellation for non-attendance or non-payment frees up needed classroom spaces for those students ready to attend. All other provisions of the existing rule are carried forward in this new regulation.
