Purpose of Policy: This policy provides reference and direction for employees and others who travel on behalf of the University.
Summary of Changes:
- Removed the definition of Direct Support Organization and updated the definitions of Foreign Travel and Travel Request.
- Updated the authority to incur travel expenses language to clarify that travel requests are required for all travel regardless of funding.
- Updated lodging, business, and transportation expenses to provide additional clarity.
- Removed the less than entitled to documentation requirement.
- Condensed the Fly America Act requirements to remove unnecessary procedural detail.
